Do Jeep Wranglers lose value?

These Are The Jeep Vehicles That Are Holding Their Values The Best

When you’re looking to buy a car, it can be hard to know what kind of value you’ll get out of it. Will it depreciate like crazy in the first year? How much will it lose in five years? The answer, of course, is different for every vehicle—but one thing that’s true across the board is that Jeeps are winners when it comes to resale value.

That’s according to a recent study by iSeeCars.com, which reviewed over 8.2 million transactions of vehicles from the 2016 model year and determined that the Jeep Wrangler is the champ when it comes to resale values, depreciating an average of just 9.2 percent over five years. The next closest competitor was the Jeep Cherokee (which loses only 10 percent), followed by the Chevrolet Tahoe (10.4 percent).

So if you’re thinking about buying a new or used Jeep Wrangler, don’t sweat it! You’re likely going to get plenty of bang for your buck—and then some!
