Do Jeeps have a hidden Easter egg?
An “easter egg” is a little surprise hidden in pretty much every Jeep vehicle since the 90’s. The man who hatched the idea is Michael Santoro, hired in 1989 as a designer.
Santoro was looking for a way to add some character to the car without spending a whole lot on design or engineering costs—and he found it. He brought in a tiny little plastic dinosaur and hid it somewhere on every Jeep vehicle since then.
The dinosaurs have been spotted all over: under seats, behind panels, even inside the grille! But if you’re not an expert at spotting these hidden gems, you might never find them—and that’s okay too!
